Role purpose
Lead the strategy and delivery of Patria’s regional marketing across all asset classes in the Developed Regions, and act as marketing lead for the Patria Private Equity Trust. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and based in London, the role is part of the global Marketing team and is accountable for an integrated 360° communications plan spanning public relations, digital presence and events, designed to raise Patria’s profile with investors, intermediaries and the wider market and to support the firm’s distribution objectives. The role combines senior regional leadership with hands-on delivery of the Trust’s listed-company calendar, including the AGM, Capital Markets Day, annual and half-year reporting and earnings calls.
What you will own
Developed Regions regional marketing
• Develop and own the 360° communications plan for the Developed Regions, integrating public relations, digital presence (website, social media, paid campaigns) and events (proprietary and sponsored) into a single plan with clear objectives, audiences, calendar and budget by asset class.
• Translate the global marketing strategy and asset-class priorities into a regional marketing strategy and implementation plan, agreeing priorities with the Chief Marketing Officer and with investment, distribution and product colleagues.
• Lead regional media and PR activity: build relationships with financial, trade and national press; manage proactive and reactive PR, thought-leadership placement, awards and speaking opportunities.
• Direct regional digital activity, including website content, social channels, email and paid campaigns, working with the global digital team to keep brand, tone and tooling consistent.
• Plan and deliver the regional events programme, including proprietary events and sponsored conferences and forums, with clear objectives, budgets and post-event follow-up.
• Select, brief and manage external providers (for example PR, creative, digital, events and research agencies), including scope, budget, contracts and performance.
• Own the regional marketing budget and set KPIs; monitor the results of marketing activity, report to the Chief Marketing Officer and recommend adjustments to our approach as needed.
Patria Private Equity Trust
• Act as marketing lead for our retail UK-listed trust, owning campaigns, website, board packs, PR, events and investor documents.
• Prepare for and manage the Trust’s events.
• Work with the investment team to produce content for public distribution, such as factsheets, portfolio commentary, presentations, articles and video.
• Coordinate the Annual Report and the Half-Year Report end to end, managing the timetable, contributors, design, production and publication with Finance, Company Secretarial, Legal and external advisers.
• Support the team on all earnings calls, including materials, Q&A preparation, scheduling, distribution and follow-up.
• Manage external third-party providers to the Trust (for example PR, design and print, web and shareholder-engagement providers), ensuring quality, cost control and delivery to deadline.
• Report on marketing activity to the Trust’s Board and feed back shareholder, analyst and market insight to the investment team.
Brand, compliance and team
• Ensure all materials meet Patria brand standards and applicable regulatory requirements (for example FCA financial promotion rules and listed-company disclosure obligations), working with Compliance and Legal on review and approval and maintaining clear approval workflows and records.
• Work as part of the global Marketing team and with colleagues across asset classes and functions to ensure seamless delivery and consistent messaging.
• Build and lead the regional marketing resource, including any direct reports and external support, as Patria’s presence in the Developed Regions grows.
What success looks like in the first 12 months
1. A clear, approved 360° communications plan and budget for the Developed Regions is in place, with agreed KPIs and regular reporting used by the Chief Marketing Officer and asset-class leads.
2. The Trust’s reporting and events calendar delivered on time, to a high standard and with clean regulatory sign-off.
3. Patria’s profile in the Developed Regions grows measurably across press, digital and events, with consistent, compliant messaging across asset classes.
4. External providers are managed against clear briefs, budgets and performance measures, and deliver good value.
5. The role is a trusted marketing partner to the investment, distribution, Compliance and Trust Board stakeholders, and an effective contributor to the global Marketing team.
