Shareholders Relations Senior Analyst
Position Overview
Patria Investments (ticker PAX), a NASDAQ listed alternative asset manager with over $51bn of Assets under Management (AUM), is seeking an investor relations professional to serve as senior analyst in Shareholder Relations. This highly visible position, which will report to the Shareholders leadership team and work closely with senior management, will be responsible for supporting all PAX investor relations activities globally including building and maintaining PAX IR financial models and marketing materials, executing on industry competitive analysis, and supporting the development of relationships with both the buy-side and the sell-side, and the continued evolution of Patria’s brand awareness within the broader investment community. This position offers unparallel access to senior management of the largest alternative asset manager in the region, as Patria fills a prominent role in the dynamic and growing global alternative asset management industry.
Key Responsibilities – Location: São Paulo-BR
Work with Regional Heads of Shareholder Relations and Senior Management to support Patria’s shareholder relations go-to-market strategy with focus on developing and expanding PAX’s investor base and sell-side analyst relationships globally
Support Regional Heads on developing and updating PAX related marketing materials in conjunction with Senior Management and internal partners to ensure transparency and alignment with company objectives
Adapt PAX reports, presentations, and materials to different audiences for shareholder meetings and public events
Build, maintain and conduct competitor and industry analysis to support the firm’s local and global strategic decision-making, and support the monitoring of regional markets and regulatory trends
Build and maintain PAX IR related databases and support the development of targeted investor lists and marketing schedules using various internal and external information tools, such as Visible Alpha and IR Insight
Collect, consolidate and analyze sell-side earnings models, forecasts, and valuation methodologies, and support Regional and Global Heads to identify trends and issues that require management’s attention
Support the organization of all regional non-deal roadshows and various buy-side and sell-side events in order to enhance PAX’s visibility to the investment community and communicate the firm’s strategy and growth opportunity
Work with FP&A, Funds FP&A and Accounting in the preparation of all PAX IR-related presentations including quarterly earnings presentations and periodic shareholder presentations
Support the preparation and execution of pre- and post-earnings call activities to ensure effective buy-side and sell-side engagement
Support the preparation of regulatory filings such as 20-F annual report
Develop and maintain PAX IR financial models in coordination with Regional and Global Heads
Maintain PAX IR databases such as Master Investor Base, Guidance Book and IR Insight
Support the measurement of the effectiveness of the company’s investor relations program through the calculation of KPIs such as number of buy-side and sell-side interactions, addition of new investors, maintenance of top shareholders
Support the preparation and execution of PAX Investor Days
The ideal candidate
A minimum of 3 years of experience in finance including strong financial modeling expertise
A minimum of 3 years of experience in finance industry
Native Portuguese and fluent English. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
Desired experience in Project Management
Sao Paulo based
