Head of Shareholders Relations - Latin America
Position Overview
Patria Investments (ticker PAX), a NASDAQ listed alternative asset manager with over $50bn of Assets under Management (AUM), is seeking an experienced investor relations professional to serve as a VP in Shareholder Relations focused on the LATAM region. This highly visible position, which will report to the Global Head of Shareholder Relations and work closely with senior management, will be responsible for overseeing all PAX investor relations activities in Latin America including building and maintaining relationships with both the buy-side and the sell-side, as well as the continued development of Patria’s brand awareness within the broader investment community. In addition, the position will contribute to and support Patria’s broader global Shareholder Relations efforts and offers unparallel access to senior management of the largest alternative asset manager in the region, as Patria fills a prominent role in the dynamic and growing global alternative asset management industry.
Key Responsibilities – Market of focus: Latin America
Strategic GTM & Relationship Management: Develop and execute the Latin America shareholder relations strategy, focusing on expanding PAX’s investor base and strengthening relationships with regional buy-side and sell-side analysts.
Strategic Communication & Public Affairs: Lead all investor communications in LATAM, ensuring alignment with global objectives. Partner with Corporate Communications to execute public affairs initiatives that elevate Patria’s brand and reputation within the regional financial industry.
Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis: Monitor local market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor performance. Conduct deep-dive industry analysis using tools like Visible Alpha and Irwin to support senior management’s strategic decision-making.
Financial Modeling & Earnings Support: Manage and maintain IR financial models, monitoring analysts' forecasts and valuation methodologies. Coordinate with FP&A to prepare quarterly earnings materials and shareholder presentations, ensuring effective pre- and post-earnings engagement.
Event Leadership & Reporting: Organize regional non-deal roadshows and investor events to enhance market visibility. Act as a strategic feedback loop, providing senior management with real-time insights into investor sentiment and market attitudes toward Patria’s performance.
The ideal candidate
A minimum of 8 years of financial industry experience and a minimum of 3 years in an Investor Relations leadership position
Finance industry experience within the region is essential, preferably with a background in or exposure to the alternative investment management industry
Network: strong relationships with both the buy-side and sell-side communities in Brazil and throughout LATAM
Experience in working effectively on a team and communicating with and reporting directly to senior management
Excellent communication skills and analytical capabilities
Native Portuguese and fluent English. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
Availability to travel extensively throughout the region with occasional travel to U.S. and London
