This position will be based in our Office in São Paulo, Brazil in an full in person work model.
Main Responsibilities:
• Develop studies for new infrastructure businesses (with a focus on highway concessions);
• Manage third parties and service providers (designers, consultancies, technical advisors), including scope definition, participation in the contracting process, guidance for the development of activities, contract monitoring, measurement control, and technical validation of deliverables;
• Perform critical analysis of engineering projects and studies, assessing technical and construction feasibility, costs, risks, and regulatory compliance;
• Develop the detailed CAPEX spreadsheet for the feasibility studies of new business opportunities;
• Support investment decision-making through the preparation of analyses, reports, presentations, and structured recommendations;
• Organize, document, and keep updated all information related to the studies of new projects, ensuring clarity, traceability, and decision history;
• Actively participate in the implementation of invested companies, monitoring the initial structuring and technical, operational, and economic decisions until reaching an adequate level of maturity;
• Support the monitoring of invested companies, ensuring adherence to the Business Plan assumptions, contractual obligations, and best technical and management practices;
• Consolidate lessons learned, innovations, and improvement opportunities from portfolio companies, feeding them back into the new business processes;
• Seek innovations and support the implementation of improvements in processes and solutions applicable to new businesses and invested companies.
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering;
• 8–12 years of experience in highway concessionaires, engineering/design firms, or new business studies in road infrastructure;
• Advanced Excel;
• Excellent analytical skills (both in spreadsheet/budget analysis and critical review of engineering projects);
• Hands-on profile;
• Availability for travel.
Desirable:
• PMP certification or postgraduate degree in Project Management;
• Practical knowledge of Civil 3D and BIM tools.
