Private Equity Intern - SEK
About Pátria Investments and SEK
Pátria Investments is one of the leading alternative investment platforms in Latin America, with extensive experience in Private Equity, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Credit and Public Equities. Within its Private Equity strategy, Pátria has recently launched SEK (Security Ecosystem Knowledge), a leading Brazilian cybersecurity platform.
SEK was created following Pátria’s acquisition of Proteus (Brazil) and NeoSecure (Chile) in 2021 and already operates in Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia and Peru, serving 650+ active clients globally and generating approximately US$100 million in annual revenue. Backed by US$150 million in committed capital from Pátria, SEK’s goal is to quintuple its operations over the next five years, through a combination of organic growth, hiring and M&A.
SEK acts as an integrator of cybersecurity solutions, simplifying the security stack for clients by centralizing risk anticipation, attack prevention, incident response and recovery. The company also offers consulting, architecture implementation and training, including an ESG initiative to train 5,000 cybersecurity professionals to address the talent gap in the sector.
