This position will be based in our Office in Brazil in an full in person work model. {We are looking for local Talent!}

Main Responsibilities:

Investment Strategy and Execution:

• Lead the development and implementation of investment strategies for our infrastructure funds
• Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities in the infrastructure sector
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment
• Negotiate terms and structure of investments, ensuring alignment with investment objectives

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, industry partners, and key stakeholders
• Prepare and present investment recommendations and updates to the investment committee
• Represent the fund in front of investors as well as at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities

Portfolio Management:

• Oversee the management and monitoring of portfolio companies
• Develop and implement value creation plans to enhance portfolio performance
• Track financial performance, operational metrics, and strategic initiatives of Patria’s infrastructure funds as well as portfolio companies

Market and Industry Analysis:

• Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments in the infrastructure sector
• Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks
• Develop insights and thought leadership on infrastructure investment trends

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead and mentor a team of junior investment professionals, fostering a high-performance culture
• Provide training and development opportunities to junior team members
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align team goals with overall objectives

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in infrastructure private equity or related investment roles
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
• Excellent negotiation and deal structuring abilities
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage investment teams
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• In-depth knowledge of the infrastructure sector and market dynamics
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
