This position will be based in our Office in Brazil in an full in person work model. {We are looking for local Talent!}
Main Responsibilities:
Investment Strategy and Execution:
- Lead the development and implementation of investment strategies for our infrastructure funds
- Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities in the infrastructure sector
- Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment
- Negotiate terms and structure of investments, ensuring alignment with investment objectives
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, industry partners, and key stakeholders
- Prepare and present investment recommendations and updates to the investment committee
- Represent the fund in front of investors as well as at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities
Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the management and monitoring of portfolio companies
- Develop and implement value creation plans to enhance portfolio performance
- Track financial performance, operational metrics, and strategic initiatives of Patria’s infrastructure funds as well as portfolio companies
Market and Industry Analysis:
- Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments in the infrastructure sector
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks
- Develop insights and thought leadership on infrastructure investment trends
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of junior investment professionals, fostering a high-performance culture
- Provide training and development opportunities to junior team members
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align team goals with overall objectives
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in infrastructure private equity or related investment roles
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
- Excellent negotiation and deal structuring abilities
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage investment teams
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- In-depth knowledge of the infrastructure sector and market dynamics
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
