About the Team
Corporate Development strategically supports Patria by identifying opportunities for growth and expansion, whether from a geographical, product offering, or customer base standpoint, assisting in its consolidation as the largest alternative investment manager in Latin America. The area focuses on inorganic expansion initiatives (M&A, JVs, Acquihire), looking for partners with expertise to match Patria’s strengths. The inorganic approach allows Patria to reduce the time needed for the development and maturation of a new organic initiative, boosting company’s growth.
About the role
We are seeking an Analyst to join the Investment team at the firm, working directly on supporting the development of investment theses, deal origination, analysis, and execution of potential transactions in Brazil and abroad. The professional will be responsible for conducting financial analyses, preparing presentation materials, and tracking relevant market transactions, while interacting with various internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze company financial statements.
- Build, update, and analyze financial models, including projections and scenario simulations.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations for internal and external meetings.
- Conduct market research and comparable peer analysis.
- Monitor and track transactions and market trends relevant to the sector.
- Support due diligence processes and investment execution.
- Contribute strategic insights based on critical thinking and strong business acumen.
- Train, guide, and review the work of interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or related fields.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint (executive presentations).
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with financial modeling and valuation analysis.
- Clear, concise, and structured communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Strategic Consulting, or related areas.
- Knowledge of additional data analysis tools.
